Lobbying at the capitol on Feb. 1, 2010. Everyone should come and participate.
Join Street GRACE and their partners, A Future. Not A Past. and Wellspring Living, as they come together and talk with Georgia Legislators about the upcoming bills that impact the victims of commercial sexual exploitation. Everyone can make a difference and we want you to help us speak with one voice and ask our legislators to pass stronger laws to fight the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) and to protect the CSEC system of care funding for victims.
Schedule for Lobby Day:
8:00 am: Arrive at pre-event gathering site, if desired (information will be sent via email once you have registered)
9:30 am: Arrive at Capitol (South Wing Rotunda, 2nd Floor)
10:00 am: Welcoming Remarks and Press Event — Make sure you arrive in time for this!
10:45 am: Issue briefing and lobby guidelines (in breakout rooms)
1:00 pm: Meet our legislators to educate them on the issue
- 2:30 pm: Adjourn
