We left Winder and drove back to Gainesville to Celebrate my Aunt Bai becoming an american citizen. We ate po'boys (my fav), sang some american tunes, and waved american flags. I know some readers are thinking I am joking, but I am not. :) She also told us some of the questions they asked on the written and oral exam. We all left thinking that we were glad we were born here, because none of us could have passed.
After we left the citizen celebration, we came home and took a quick nap. Matthew and ella stayed at home and played, while I went with Tracy to Carlie's 16th birthday party. Carlie is in my 10th grade girls small group. I love her sweet spirit and bubbly personality. I am so thankful to call her a friend.
Well our day ended on a good note. We ate a lot of food and got to spend some quality time with family and friends. Sometimes it is nice having Saturdays like that.
