Ella is 13 months

My baby is getting so big. I keep telling people that once Ella hit one, the fast forward button has been in turbo mode. I need it to sssslllloooowww down.

Here is what is new with Ella

- She can say Papa and Pop (no mimi or grana yet) She has been saying mama and daddy and nat-nat

- She continues to say hey to people in the right context (she has been saying hey and bye-bye)

-She can hold her sippy cup by herself.

-Ella can walk along furniture and even stand up for a few seconds before falling down.

-She is saying ball and book.

-Matthew and I can name a toy and she will go get it out.

-She has figured out the bins in her playroom (even though I haven't labeled them yet)

-Ella can throw her hands up in the air and shake them once her daddy and I say ...Ella, Raise the roof. (this is our favorite)

-Ella also is starting to do the drag one leg and kinda start walking with the other...walking is getting very close.

- If you tell her you love her...she will blow you a kiss.

-Recognizes names with people. I can say Where is mimi, grana, reagan, etc. and she will look at them. Working on the family members we don't see as often with pictures.

-She also loves the crawler room on sundays!!! This is big because she hasn't always been a fan of church nursery. :)

-She plays from the moment her feet hit the ground till she goes to bed.

-She is also a scavenger. She finds things in nooks, under furniture, etc. mostly her toys..but I find it hilarious when I see her little body go head first underneath our couch to grab a toy.

-ella also knows where her nose and feet are. We are working on ears and eyes.

Ella is learning so much each day. So thankful for the time I get with her on the weeks I am not working. I am also thankful to have my mom and mother in law spend time with her every other week. Thankful beyond words.

Last week...Grana was super grana and got the award for keeping a 2 month old, 13 month old and a 4 year old.

Mimi and Ella had a tea party every day with ella's animals. She loved it so much that we are having regular tea parties. We are missing mimi though. We had to get a stuffed bear to fill-in. :)
