Matthew turns 29

So I am married to one of the coolest people I know. Matthew Strickland turns 29 today and instead of presents he wants water for people without it. When he told me he set up this site I was super excited because I think it is a great idea. I am way to selfish the majority of the time and don't think of others enough. I am thankful to have people in my life that model this well. I can't wait to help out with this and want to see his goal met. The goal is 1,000. The 1,000 dollars will give water to 50 people and 10 families. I will keep you all updated on the goal and how far we have to go to get it. We would love your help. If you want to donate to the cause all the money goes 100% to charity water.

Matthew turns 29 today! Ella and I have turned the countdown wheel on the fridge every day. We both smiled when we turned it today and it said Happy Birthday. We are also celebrating Francsico Castellon in Nicaragua. He turns 13 today. For Matthew's birthday I went online and found a boy that needed to be sponsored. He has been waiting for 6 months. He was a high priority kid on compassion international. I thought it was really neat that as a birthday gift, he happened to be born on the same day as Matthew. Even though we don't know Francisco and all we have is a picture. Our family is praying for you and we are celebrating you today. Happy Birthday Matthew and Happy Birthday Francisco.
